Dissecting #AI for Everyone who Loves it or Hates it!

AI is the top-most ongoing debate nowadays; some adore it while some fear it.
In the past few months, I have spoken to many clients looking for only those teams who would diligently use AI, while others explicitly avoid them.

This polarization requires us to re-think and realize the embedded truth.

Firstly: Never forget that you are still required to develop & improve your skills, knowledge, and expertise, as AI won’t be your saviour every time, everywhere.

Secondly: Even if you use AI, you must have substantial skills to improve/change the products of AI to align those with your brand’s strategy, offering, emotions, and identity. Believe me, ‘improving’ or transforming AI-generated content into emotionally resonant material requires even more skills than writing.

Thirdly: AI might help you to become a writer, but it won’t make you a content manager, or a content director, or marketing head; forget about being part of the management. You cannot be a leader depending on AI. Leadership roles require human judgment, strategic vision, and emotional intelligence – qualities that only real leaders have.

Fourth: The world is always changing. Seemingly, today’s trend is AI generated content or items; you never know what the future will hold. Always be prepared for the possible harsh realities of the world.

Remember, when the culture of ‘influencers’ started, people blindly followed what influencers sold to them, but eventually they became more discerning towards them.

Eventually, people will develop a keen sense of distinguishing between the human-written and AI-written content or visuals or more, and they will always appreciate more what holds the real emotions, what makes them feel related.

Successful campaigns, ideas, or content pieces are always rooted in genuine human connection. The most impactful campaigns resonate because they tap into authentic human emotions and experiences. This fundamental truth remains unchanged.

Skills Remain Paramount!
AI is a tool, not a replacement for expertise. Just as a calculator doesn’t make someone a mathematician, AI won’t automatically transform someone into a skilled content creator or marketer. Continue investing in professional development – your unique insights and experience remain invaluable.

I personally don’t prefer AI, because I have spent years sharpening my writing & marketing expertise, but here’s my unbiased take on it.

P.S. Even AI makes mistakes, yes it does! Are you skilled enough to identify them?
